Our Story
My name’s Alex Wright, I’m 27, and fishing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember—starting out with my grandad around St. Helens. Over the years, I’ve caught everything from perch and pike to bream and big carp. Carp fishing, though—that’s my true obsession. My personal bests are 55lb in France and 34lb in the UK.
FFBaits was born out of experience and frustration. Like many anglers, I found I was catching more consistently using bait I made myself. After talking to others on the bank, it became clear I wasn’t alone—more and more people were losing faith in the big brands. That’s when I saw an opportunity.
With the support of my good mate Alex (yes, another one!), founder of Fisherman’s Fortune, I took the leap and turned my passion into FFBaits. We hand-roll every batch and vigorously test our bait ourselves, because we believe in quality over hype. Our goal? Bait that actually works—no shortcuts, no gimmicks, just real results.
